A Powerful Support Network

At Fort Hays State University we are really serious about supporting our students. Here you will find a myriad of student support services. But it's not just about the services, it's about a community of support. We're excited to welcome each Tiger to Fort Hays State University, and we'll be your partner from day one, until you graduate and even beyond,

We understand that going to college can be difficult. It can be a hard transition for our students and our parents. But we want to ensure that when they get to campus, our students have all of the resources and supports readily available to them. The Fischli-Wills Center for Student Success will be a one stop shop for all of our students services. On the main floor, you're going to find our very own Welcome Center. On the second and third floor, you're going to find our student engagement office, which is home to all of our student organizations. We also have our Academic Advising, and Career Exploration Office, the Kelly Center, Student Health, and again, it'll be a one stop shop for all student needs that need to be met while they're on campus here at Fort Hays State University.

I believe Fort Hays does do a really good job supporting their students and making sure they have what they need to succeed as a student. I personally know transferring from a community college, I kind of felt like I didn't fit in at first. I didn't have the rapport with all the other junior students, who had been here. And so being able to join different student organizations such as Psychology Club and Black Student Union, I was able to really find my place here, and find a great support group and a great group of friends.
